Stir-fried Rx. Codonopsis Dang Shen 6-14g Tonifies the Middle Jiao, augments Qi, nourishes the Blood and promotes the generation of Body Fluids.
With Fu Ling, for Spleen and Stomach Deficiency with fatigue, a sensation of fullness in the abdomen, dizziness, lethargy, shortness of breath, anorexia and loose stools or diarrhea.
With Bai Zhu, for Spleen Qi Deficiency with anorexia, loose stools and vomiting.
With Dang Gui and Shu Di Huang, for Qi and Blood Deficiency with dizziness, weakness and lassitude.
With Bai Zhu, Zhi Gan Cao, Shu Di Huang and Bai Shao, for Qi and Blood Deficiency.
Stir-fried Rz. Atractylodis Macrophyllae Bai Zhu 3-15g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi, dries Dampness and promotes water metabolism.
With Shu Di Huang and Bai Shao, for Blood Deficiency, often with palpitations.

Rx. Glycyrrhizae Preparata Zhi Gan Cao 1.5-14g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi, moderates spasms, alleviates pain, moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs and guides the herbs to all twelve channels.
With Dang Shen, for anorexia, fatigue and loose stools due to Spleen Deficiency.
With Dang Shen, Fu Ling and Bai Zhu, strengthens the Spleen and augments Qi.
With Bai Shao, moderates spasms and alleviates pain, for painful spasms of the leg or abdomen.
Poria Fu Ling 9-18g Promotes urination, leaches out Dampness and strengthens the Spleen.
With Bai Zhu, strengthens the Spleen and resolves Dampness.
Sm. Cuscutae Tu Si Zi 6-18g Tonifies the Kidneys, strengthens Yang, nourishes Yin, astringes Jing and urine and benefits the marrow.
Fr. Zanthoxyli Chuan Jiao 2-7g Warms the Middle Jiao, disperses Cold, dispels Dampness, relieves diarrhea and alleviates pain.
With Fu Ling, for Cold from Deficiency of the Lungs and Kidneys with lower back pain, icy cold feet and wheezing.
Fluoritum Zi Shi Ying 9-16g Warms the Womb and warms and unblocks the Chong and Ren channels.

  • Use this formula 7-10 days before menstruation. After menstruation use Chinese Patent Medicines Ba Zhen Wan and Wu Zi Yan Zong Wan.
